My Approach
Healing from trauma isn’t about fixing what is ‘broken.’ It is about both creating the safety required for your nervous system to exhale and finding the thread of your own story and following it home. My work is driven by the conviction that everyone deserves a space where they don't have to perform or translate their existence to be understood.
To me, therapy is a radical act of self-reclamation. It's about honoring the brain's wisdom and the body's memory, helping you move from simply surviving to truly occupying your own life.
Watching you find your ground is why I am here.
Hi! I'm Nicole.
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy for individuals navigating emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and the ways stress and distress can live in the body and mind. I work with clients across California, Oregon, and Washington, and also offer clinical supervision for associate therapists working toward licensure.
I’m especially drawn to working with queers and weirdos of all kinds—people who don’t feel like they fit neatly into boxes and are looking for a space where they can show up as their full, authentic selves. My work is relational and down-to-earth, centered on helping you make sense of your experiences while finding ways to move forward that feel doable and aligned.
Trained and rooted in rural community, I care deeply about supporting people in remote and underserved areas. I offer virtual services to help bridge the gap for those who may feel isolated or have limited access to care, creating a space where connection and support are possible no matter where you are.
Having played tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) for decades, and with a deep commitment to community mental health, I also offer separate coaching services using game-based approaches.
This work - therapeutically applied table top role playing games (ta-TTRPG) - is distinct from psychotherapy. It’s an adjacent form of support focused on emotional well-being, connection, and growth. Through emotionally focused gaming, we build community, encourage self-expression, and explore new ways of relating in a creative, collaborative space.
“There is no way out,” she said,
but she took one step forward.

Psychotherapy
Therapy is a space to understand what’s been shaping you—past and present—and how it continues to show up in your life.
Our work will be collaborative and paced in a way that respects where you are. We’ll pay attention to what’s coming up, make sense of it together, and begin to find ways forward that feel more workable over time.
ta-TTRPG coaching
Therapeutically applied table top role playing games (ta-TTRPG). Healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. We create a safe sandbox to practice resilience, explore identities, and build meaningful connections. It's about (re)claiming your narrative in a space that celebrates your authentic, wonderful self.
Clinical Supervision
I offer supervision for associate therapists. With great respect for our field, I completely reject pathologizing approaches to this work.
Together, we'll build your clinical skills, support your growth as a therapist, and help you create a private practice that feels aligned, fulfilling, and not built on burnout.
Ready to start?
We all struggle with change - whether adapting to it or initiating it in our lives. If you are feeling ready, or even just curious, you're welcome to reach out. I am currently accepting clients where licensed (California, Oregon, and Washington) for trauma-informed therapy and globally for wellness coaching. I am also available for associate clinical supervision, wellness workshops or speaking engagements.
I am only fluent in English, which I know limits my ability to connect worldwide. If you are looking for services in another language, please feel free to still reach out as I know several multilingual providers and would be happy to make the connection.
